START-The Great American AFGHAN 

Tueday, July 27, August 10, 24 & Sept 7 & 21, 7-9pm HOORAY! Its been years since I have held an afghan square class, and I am soooo excited to start one up again. We will be making The Great American Afghan by XRX Press. The complete afghan is made up of 25 squares of worsted-weight yarn(although you could make the afghan out of fewer squares if you wanted to). Each clever square was created by a different American designer and features very unique stitch techniques, so you will be learning a LOT!!! I will teach a new square every two weeks and give fun background information about each of the designers, so by the end of the project, we will all beEXPERTS! I Consider this afghan a knitting journeyI hope you will join me on it!!! Class is $10 a session for a year (24 sessions total) or $200 if you pay for the whole year at once (thats$40 off)!!! The last class will be the shops first knitting all-nighter where we will learn how to sew the squares together and create your afghans edging. Hows that for a fun way to end the year! !
